The Teen Creative Explorations in Photography class is designed for ages 13–17, this eight-week course explores photography beyond the traditional camera. Students will experiment with cyanotypes, photograms, pinhole cameras, alternative darkroom processes, and mixed-media projects while learning how light and photographic materials can be used to create images in unexpected ways.
No photography experience is necessary. Materials are provided, and students will have an opportunity to show work in a youth photography exhibition at the Seattle Light Room.
