The Teen Beginning Digital Photography class is designed for teens ages 13–17. This eight-week course explores the fundamentals of photography using a phone or digital camera. Through photo walks, shooting assignments, and hands-on projects, students will learn about composition, light, subject matter, and visual storytelling, then explore ways to edit, refine, print, and present their images.
No prior experience needed. Students may use a phone camera or digital camera. The course concludes with an opportunity to show work in a youth photography exhibition at the Seattle Light Room.
