Join us for a Lumen Printing Workshop with Harini Krishnamurthy at The Seattle Light Room. This class introduces lumen printing, a cameraless photographic process that uses sunlight and time to transform black-and-white photographic paper into richly colored, one-of-a-kind images. Harini will share the background of the process and guide participants through hands-on experimentation with exposure, materials, and composition. Participants will create their own lumen prints using provided objects and natural materials, and are welcome to bring personal items to explore how different forms and textures interact with light.
No prior experience is necessary—this workshop is open to anyone curious about experimental and alternative photographic processes.
