The Seattle Light Room is excited to announce it’s second annual teen only juried group show. We are looking for images that represent what home means to you. Think of home as an idea or a feeling rather than a literal interpretation. What are all the places, people, and situations that make you feel like you’re home. Maybe it’s grandma, maybe it’s soccer practice, maybe it’s playing your guitar. Get creative!

Images: Images must be submitted digitally, through this form. They must be photography based and the images must be yours. All images will be displayed at 8” x 10” and will be framed and printed by The Seattle Light Room. Frames have been donated by Lucky Rabbet frame shop.

Printing: All digital images will be printed by The Seattle Light Room, free of charge. They will be printed at 8” x 10”.

The Seattle Light Room will select up to 25 artists to be included in the show. Selected images will be part of a group show that will run from November 14 – 30 in our gallery in Seward Park.

Entry deadline: January 10, 2026 @ 11:59pm

Selection announcement: January 19, 2026

Number of images: You can submit between one to five images, per person. If you are selected to be in the show, The Seattle Light Room will select one of your images to be included in the show.

Maximum file size: 5 MB

Minimum file size: 1 MB

Image format: JPEG

File naming convention: Name all files lastname_firstname_imagename.jpg (Do not submit the images with the default phone filename!)

Printed Image size: 8x10

Age requirement: 13 - 19

Opening Reception: Friday, February 13th 6 - 8 pm

Show dates: February 12 – 31, 2026

If selected, you will need approval from your adult at home to participate in the show and to sell your work.
