Layers of
What I want to say to you is
Take a second look.
Usually when we look at abstracts, our brain wants to make shapes into objects. There's a shoe, a flower etc. Thank your brain for this, and then see if you can just see the colors, textures, shapes, the many layers. Some colors move forward, some recede. Some shapes are at first dominant, then that same shape placed somewhere else can be hardly seen. What does your eye first notice? Where does it next go? Can you walk into this print in your mind?
For me, grief is best expressed abstractly. There is constant change at a molecular level... a heart full of everything and simultaneously being empty, an intense love, a deep sorrow. Everyone's grief is their own individual experience. Maybe you can look into this work and find something that speaks to you.
