community
The Seattle Light Room is excited to announce a teen only juried group show. We are looking for images that represent the idea of Community. Think of community as an idea or a feeling rather than a literal interpretation. What does Community mean to you? What are all the different types of communities you interact with? Get creative!
Images can be digital or analog. The only requirement is that they be photography based and that the images are yours. All images will be displayed at 8” x 10” and will be framed by The Seattle Light Room and Lucky Rabbet (frames will be donated by Lucky Rabbet frame shop).
Digital images: All digital images will be printed by The Seattle Light Room, free of charge. They will be printed at 8” x 10”.
Analog images: Please submit a digital image for review. If selected, you will receive instructions on delivering your print to The Seattle Light Room. Printed image needs to be 8” x 10”.
The Seattle Light Room will select 25 images to be included in the show. Selected images will be part of a group show that will run from November 14 – 30 in our gallery in Seward Park.

File naming convention: Name all files lastname_firstname_imagename.jpg

Age requirement: 13 - 19
Opening Reception: Friday, November 15 @ 6 – 9 pm
Show dates: November 14 – 30, 2024
If selected, you will need approval from your adult at home to participate in the show and to sell your work.
